2022 Annual Appeal

Help keep film in Provincetown by making a tax-deductible, year-end donation to the Provincetown Film Society!

2023 is the 25th anniversary of the Provincetown International Film Festival! We will be celebrating with another fantastic in-person event featuring the best in new and influential cinema from around the world and exciting conversations and events with notable directors, actors, and film industry luminaries!

We have ambitious plans for other 2023 PFS programming that include presenting the best first-run movies and special screenings at our Waters Edge Cinema, hosting more visiting artists, collaborating with local businesses and organizations, and showcasing important past and present work telling diverse stories of art, activism, and everything that makes Provincetown so unique.

For decades, Provincetown has been home to making and celebrating movies. Tennessee Williams cast Marlon Brando in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE after meeting in Ptown, Norman Mailer shot TOUGH GUYS DON’T DANCE in the dunes, and John Waters premiered PINK FLAMINGOS at the Art House. More recently, vampires and zombies walked Commercial Street in Ryan Murphy’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY and Spiritus Pizza was the backdrop for Billy Eichner’s BROS. Filmmaking is essential to Ptown’s artistic fabric. Our talented local filmmakers continue the tradition of creating exceptional work – including three feature films just in the last 18 months!

The Provincetown Film Society is here to keep film in Provincetown and create community through storytelling and shared experience.

Please support our mission by making a tax-deductible contribution.

Let’s make our 25th year the best one yet!
