On Friday, June 12 at 4pm at Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial Street, writer/director Matt Johnson (BlackBerry) joins actors Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers) and Leo Woodall (Tuner) in conversation to introduce clips and host a discussion about the upcoming A24 film TONY, a nostalgic and electric depiction of a pivotal moment that changed the course of Anthony Bourdain’s life. Set during the summer of 1975, Sessa stars as a 19-year-old Bourdain who travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen. The conversation will feature an exclusive first look of select clips from TONY, set to land in theaters this August, with the coastal enclave’s bohemian energy and grit setting the stage for this coming-of-age tale.
Moderated by Eugene Hernandez, Director of the Sundance Film Festival.
