Actor, comedian and writer Jeff Hiller will be joining us for a very special conversation all about his new book and his celebrated career. Best known as Joel in HBO’s Peabody Award-winning show Somebody Somewhere, the show was named a NYT Critic’s Pick, and Jeff’s performance earned him an Indie Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance. His brand new book, Actress of a Certain Age: My Twenty Year Trail to Overnight Success, is a humorous collection of autobiographical essays, where he shares his journey from growing up “profoundly gay” in 1980s Texas to his experiences as an inept social worker and how he clawed, scraped, and brawled to Hollywood’s lower middle-tier.
