MONDAY MORNING PRONOUNS

Saturday October 19th@3:30pm
“Monday Morning Pronouns” is a stylized documentary about lesbians and the
continuing oppression of the coming out experience during the 1970’s. The film
documents what it means to be a lesbian through first person interviews, gay pride,
animation, fantasy and reality images, and four original songs written for the film. Filmed
in Boston, Provincetown and New York City and shot with a silent Super 8 camera and
a created wild soundtrack, “Monday Morning Pronouns” was one of the first films about
the coming out experience. It won 1st Place at the New England Film Festival in the
Super 8 category in 1980.
