Christine Kunewa Walker

Christine Kunewa Walker is the Director of Diversity Initiatives at the Provincetown Film Society and the co-founder of the State of the Media. Summit aka the Women’s Media Summit, dedicated to gender and racial parity in U.S. entertainment media. An independent spirit award nominee and recipient of the Producer’s Guild  of America Diversity Award for producing excellence, Walker is also an award-winning feature film producer, the  former CEO of PFS and the President of Werk Werc Works,  a feature film production and finance film company. 

Walker’s film  credits include: STAY THEN GO, directed by Shelli Ainsworth, DARLING COMPANION (Sony Pictures Classics) directed by Lawrence Kasdan starring Diane Keaton and Kevin Kline; THE TURIN HORSE by Hungarian auteur Bela; THIN ICE directed by Jill Sprecher with Greg Kinnear, Alan Arkin and Billy Crudup; HOWL directed by academy award winning directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman; the Todd Solondz helmed LIFE DURING WARTIME, FACTOTUM starring Matt Dillon, Lily Taylor and Marisa Tomei, and line produced the academy award nominated AMERICAN SPLENDOR. Walker also wrote and produced OLDER THAN AMERICA starring Adam Beach and Bradley Cooper.
