2021 Provincetown Film Festival Next Wave Honoree Natalie Morales is a spectacularly talented actor, director, writer, and activist. Her directorial debut
LANGUAGE LESSONS (which won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at SXSW) in which she also stars can be seen here at PIFF. Natalie also directed the recent Hulu film PLAN B. Natalie’s acting credits include the Netflix series DEAD TO ME, HBO’s THE NEWSROOM GIRLS,  NBC’s PARKS & RECREATION as well as films such as BATTLE OF THE SEXES and THE LITTLE THINGS.

Natalie Morales will be featured in a virtual conversation with musician Holly Miranda to discuss her incredible career and exciting upcoming projects as we are thrilled to honor her with our Annual Next Wave Award. This special honor is presented to a film artist who has an exciting and distinctive voice, takes artistic risks, and has a passionate commitment to independent film and this certainly describes Natalie Morales.
