H-2 WORKER (1990)

For six months a year, over 10,000 men from Jamaica and other Caribbean islands perform the brutal task of cutting sugar cane by hand, a job so dangerous and low-paying that Americans refuse to do it. This controversial documentary explores the H-2 Program, which has existed for over 45 years out of the public eye, and the sugar companies and government supporters who have escaped accountability. Directed by Stephanie Black.
