Film fest gets new edge

The 20th Provincetown International Film Festival, which runs Wednesday, June 13, through Sunday, June 17, has announced that its 2018 Filmmaker on the Edge will be Sean Baker, the director and co-writer of “Tangerine” (2015), the wild tale of transgender sex workers on the streets of L.A. that was shot on an iPhone, and “The Florida Project” (2017), which won numerous critics’ awards and an Oscar nomination for Willem Dafoe.
